Creating new chapters in treatment and in life…

Introducing The Power of Hope Campaign

It is amazing to hear the exuberant stories of many people who have found resolutions to their behavioral healthcare illness.  Over the past 30 years diagnosis and treatment for many forms of behavioral health illness have become a partnership between the client and a therapeutic team.  Outcomes are improving and people are finding resolutions to difficult challenges.

The professionals at Penn Foundation have made great strides in providing restorative therapies for people with serious and persistent mental illness and those with co-occurring issues of a mental illness and substance use disorder.  Similar to treatment and management of high blood pressure and diabetes, clients work with a treatment team to determine the right medication, attend education classes to learn self-management and have one-to-one coaching with a specialized therapist.  For many this means they can work, volunteer, go to school—do the many things their illness would have curtailed in the past.

In addition, our traditional outpatient services have grown to meet the needs of children, adults, families and seniors.  These programs provide many people with the support and assistance they need to resolve a variety of life transitions such as grief, marital problems, parenting, as well as short-term depression, anxiety, and addictions to name a few.  At Penn Foundation the Power of Hope does meet the Power of Change.
